In this 8-week, in person, poetry workshop, we take as inspiration poets who rise to the challenge of envisioning new worlds in the midst of the sorrow and struggle of this one. We straddle the line between despair and hope and explore together what must be composted, set aflame, burnt to ash so we can clear space for our hearts' wildest imaginings. We learn tools of resilience and power (altar making, ritual, yoga, breathing, meditation) as we create and conspire together from the heart. Through conscious surrender and creation, we tap into what is longing for our attention to be rebirthed and restored.
