Amy Hughes is a writer and teacher from Northeast Ohio. She is currently a teaching artist with Lake Erie Ink and a founding member of Poetry Free Cleveland, a team of typewriter poets composing poems on demand at public events. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Florida International University, and her work has appeared at CAN Triennial 2022: You Are Here; Tigertail, A South Florida Annual; and is forthcoming in Rattle.
