Many of us know that it's nearly impossible to sell a novel or a short story collection without writing it prior to submission, but did you know that non-fiction books sell all the time before they're written? Alex DiFrancesco is a former editor of non-fiction for Hachette Book Group, and has read and evaluated countless non-fiction proposals. Get the inside view on what an editor looks for, how to sell yourself and your idea, and how to sell a book without writing one (yet!). By the end of this class, you should have a solid plan for writing a non-fiction proposal. You should come away with an outline of what to do and how to do it to make sure your non-fiction book sells.
