Generative Poetry - Feb 2025

Are you writing a poems, a collection, ? It's all welcome in this six-week generative workshop designed to help you create new poetry or make progress on your project. You'll respond to writing prompts, write outside of class to meet weekly deadlines, analyze published poetry, and discuss craft elements such as form, rhythm, acoustics, meter, voice, and more.

‍Details: Generative Poetry takes place Tuesdays, February 11, February 28, February 25, March 4, March 11, and March 18 from 6:30-8:30pm remotely through Zoom.

‍Genre: Poetry

‍Level: All levels are welcome.

‍Format: Craft and generative workshop with writing in and outside of class.

‍Location: This class takes place remotely online via Zoom.

‍Size: Limited to 12 participants (including scholarships).

‍Suggested Sequence: Follow this class with a craft and/or generative nonfiction workshop, a feedback course, or a publishing course.

‍Scholarships: Two scholarship spots are available for this class for writers in Northeast Ohio. Apply by December 16.
