Join the local literary community to celebrate the life and writing of Toni Morrison—Lorain native and one of the greatest writers of this or any era—on her birthday.
Literary Cleveland and ThirdSpace Action Lab will partner this Toni Morrison Day, Tuesday, February 18 from 6:30-8:00pm to host a free in-person community reading at ThirdSpace Action Lab (1464 E 105th St, Cleveland OH 44106).
Featured readers will share special tributes to the author, followed by an open mic during which program attendees can share readings from Morrison’s work and original writings influenced by Morrison. ThirdSpace Reading Room will also have copies of Morrison's books for sale.
Doors open for the program at 6:00pm. Parking is available on the street outside ThirdSpace Action Lab and in the lot behind neighboring Studio 105.
