Caira, a writer originally from Baltimore, dedicated 6 years in Ghana, West Africa, to helping women-led businesses launch their social media presences. She is the author of the book Slaying With No Dents in My Afro, and her TEDx Talk has been featured by The Huffington Post and For Harriet. She’s represented Cleveland at Brave New Voices poetry festival & National Poetry Slam and was Ohio’s state champion for NEA Poetry Out Loud competition.

In middle school, Caira Lee was voted "Most Likely to Win the Lottery But Lose The Ticket," and at Shaker Heights High School, "Most Likely to Change The World." Now, through data-driven marketing strategies, she helps humanitarian brands leverage digital storytelling, all while still aspiring to that lottery win.
